I am Khokon. I fix, build and look after WordPress sites.
I am a WordPress consultant from Dhaka, Bangladesh. For 15 years I have cleaned hacked sites, built business websites and kept them running for clients in the US and around the world.

I grew up in a village
The village was Sulpina, in Purbachal. My father was a farmer. People thought I would be a farmer too. I wanted to work with computers. So I moved to the city and studied Computer Science. My father did not have much money. So I worked while I studied. I worked at a supermarket. I also did data entry for the Bangladesh Army. That was for the country’s first digital voter ID.
In 2010 I started building websites for people in other countries. I finished my BSc in 2014. I never stopped working. Since 2011 I have finished more than 850 projects.
The day my own site got hacked
In 2022 someone hacked wpbravo.com. My own site. I needed help fast. I searched Google. I found only two things. Install a plugin. Or fill in a form and wait. The plugin was already on my site. It did not stop the hack. And nobody said when the form would be answered.
I wanted one person. Someone who would listen to me. Someone who would understand I was scared. Someone who would fix it today. I could not find that person.
Why I love finding malware
I already knew code. I had built themes and plugins for ten years. So finding the bad files was easy. But two days later the site was hacked again. I cleaned it. It came back again.
Then I learned about web shells. A web shell is a tiny hidden file. The hacker uses it to send new malware from a server far away. Mine came from a server in Russia. I found the file. The hacks stopped. Finding that file felt like finding the villain in a video game. I played a lot of games as a kid. I still get that feeling on every cleanup. It is my favorite part of the job.
After that I studied more. YouTube. Udemy. Full cybersecurity courses on Cyber 71 and Ostad. Now I know where hackers hide their doors.
How I learned accessibility

Web Accessibility Specialist
In 2014 I built websites for 360 Local Business, a company in Los Angeles. In 2024 I asked them for work again. They had no open job. But they knew my work. So they hired me anyway. They had no project for me yet. So they trained me in ADA and website accessibility. They paid for it. I loved it.
I took more courses on LinkedIn Learning and Udemy. In six months I was checking their websites. Since 2026 I am their Web Accessibility Specialist. I test sites with axe, Lighthouse, WAVE and JAWS. These are the same tools big companies use.

Most designers think about these later. I think about them from day one.
Where I am now
I still work from home. The village I was supposed to farm is now a city. I am building my house there. It is a few hundred metres from where I grew up.
